I originally began my career in the field of audiology because I am truly passionate about closing the gap that exists for hearing impaired individuals and the challenging world we live in. Due to the extreme level of compassion and enthusiasm I have for this field of work, I went on to receive a doctorate degree in audiology specializing in cochlear implants.
For the next 15 years, I worked in a clinic which allowed me to both evaluate candidacy for cochlear implants as well as map the device implanted into the ear. Through this humble work, my true love for giving people this gift was born.
A great deal of time and experience assisted my decision in pursuing a further career as an educational audiologist vs clinical audiologist. In 2019, this love has blossomed into the creation of Hearing 4 All LLC, an educational audiology consulting business where I am able to use my knowledge and expertise to help school age children obtain the services and equipment they need to have adequate access to the curriculum on a daily basis.
My work consists of evaluating the hearing, listening, and auditory processing deficits of numerous students. This allows me to better understand how to support their academic success by removing the mainstream educational barriers being placed between them and a conducive learning environment.
All deaf and hard of hearing students deserve comprehensive educational audiology services to relate high-quality sound to high-level education.
As a loving mother of 4 boys, I truly understand the importance of providing students with the resources they need to succeed in the classroom. Together, we can watch your students grow from small children to independent, young adults. Their future success story begins here!
